The Valley's inverted season is the real accommodation problem: your peak wedding months — October through April — are also peak tourism and snowbird season, so hotel rates and availability tighten exactly when you need a room block. Book blocks nine to twelve months out and release unused rooms by the contract deadline to avoid attrition charges. For out-of-state guests, put the time zone on every piece of paper. Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so the offset with the rest of the country changes twice a year without anything here moving — in summer the Valley runs on the same clock as the west coast, in winter it matches the mountain zone. Guests booking flights get this wrong constantly.
