If you do want them, the region gives you better options than most: local honey, mesquite flour, regional chiles, prickly pear syrup, roasted coffee, and small pieces from the artists down at Tubac all read as being from somewhere rather than from a catalog. Two practical notes. Anything chocolate is a poor choice for a summer date, in the car as much as on the table.
