Wedding Planner / Coordinator

In Denver: One local job is worth handing to a coordinator, or at least starting early yourselves: the license. It is $30, set by statute rather than by county, and Jefferson, Boulder, Douglas and Broomfield all publish that figure. It is valid 35 days from the date of issue, it may be obtained in any Colorado county whatever the ceremony location, and it is only valid for use in Colorado. The counters run four different ways. Jefferson takes walk-ins, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and is closed Friday. Boulder requires an appointment and runs a video call for ID verification before the in-person step, and is also closed Friday. Adams is by appointment only, Douglas requires an appointment by phone or email, and Broomfield lets you begin online but states the application is not complete until you come into the office. Two counters closed on Friday is exactly the day couples fly in for a Saturday wedding. Payment differs too: Jefferson is check or cash only, Douglas is cash or credit card only. Confirm Denver and Arapahoe procedure directly, and note that a card marked not valid for federal identification is refused.
