A sandbar or an intercoastal patio at the low end starts around $6,000; a resort weekend for a hundred passes $40,000 fast once the guest-room block and F&B minimum land. The venue is the single largest decision on this list and usually the largest line in your budget — it sets your date, your capacity, your whole look, and often which other vendors you're even allowed to bring. Venues fall into two broad families. All-inclusive spaces bundle tables, chairs, a coordinator, and sometimes catering and bar in-house; they cost more up front but fold many line items into one.
