Albuquerque & Santa Fe, New Mexico

Hair & Makeup

In Albuquerque & Santa Fe: Ten artists work the corridor, six in Albuquerque and one each in Santa Fe, Corrales and Abiquiu. Book the trial with your actual dress accessories and a photo of the gown in the light at your venue; the mountain air is dry, and a Denver or Los Angeles trial does not tell you what the same look does at 7,000 feet in October afternoon sunlight. Ask about on-location service and travel; a Santa Fe artist working a Galisteo ranch morning is an hour each way and is likely booking for a single wedding a day rather than fitting yours between two. If you are getting ready at a resort or private rental, confirm parking and access for the artist's kit. Touch-up kits and party coverage price separately, so ask up front.
