Transportation

In Austin: Shuttles matter here in a way they do not for an in-town wedding, and the Hill Country destination cluster is why. Ride-share coverage from Driftwood, Wimberley and Dripping Springs back into the metro at eleven at night is unreliable enough that you should not build a plan around it -- cars are scarce, wait times are long, and pricing surges hard at closing. Book contracted shuttles between the hotel block and the venue for the outbound run, and again after the reception for the return, and confirm both routes in writing with pickup times, headcounts and gratuity. Ask about vehicle sizes and whether the operator will hold a driver on site or run a loop; the second is cheaper but adds thirty to sixty minutes to the last guest's ride home. Guests can absorb almost any inconvenience except being stranded.
