If you do want them, this is one of the few regions where the obvious local choice is also the good one: maple syrup in small bottles, maple candy, local cheese, cider and honey are made here, cost little at small scale, and actually get taken home and eaten. Two practical notes. Glass bottles are heavy and they break, so if guests are flying, choose the tin or the jug over the flask. And order maple products in spring for a fall wedding, because the sugaring season is late winter and the small producers sell through. Do not let a table of trinkets pull money from the parts of the day people remember.
