Whatcom raspberry preserves, Skagit honey, Samish Bay cheese, Bellingham-roasted coffee and small-batch treats from the farm shops around Lynden and Ferndale all read as genuinely of this place rather than generic. The Bellingham farmers’ market runs year-round and the Mount Vernon and Anacortes markets are good sourcing grounds in season. Approach makers a couple of months out if you want custom labels — most will do it happily, but not at three weeks’ notice in the middle of their own season.
